aaaaahhhhh!!
today was the day folks!! my little 'house proud' segment ran, i met nate, and also shared a great diy with him! i had a few friends over to watch....it was fun! but, if i'm being honest.....i'm glad it's over! i had a fair amount of anxiety connected to it!! not that i wouldn't jump at the chance to do it all over again! it's just a little surreal to watch yourself on tv! and your house!
i've been checking the nate show's website all morning, and they haven't posted my "house proud" video yet....so as soon as they do, i'll make sure to share it with you all! that is if you hadn't seen the show live today! i've heard from many of you well wishers out there, throughout north america....and just wanted to say "thank you" so much for watching and for your congratulations!
i appreciate it more than you know! :)
be sure to check out my diy segment at the top of my blog, if you haven't seen it already!
and because no blog post is complete without a picture.....here's what my computer screen looked like moments ago....a little crazy to say the least....a picture of nate and i, along with a featured gallery of my house! woo hoo!
As soon as I seen your house proud segment on Nate I googled your blog!!! Your house is beautiful! I don't live on the water either but was looking for ways to incorporate my love for the ocean into our new home (I'm recently married!) and seeing your home provided me with SO MUCH inspiration! You are adorable as well, great job on the show!
ReplyDeleteYay for you!!! I DVR'd it so I will watch tonight - can't wait!

I was watching this morning and after seeing your segment I went searching for your blog, I ended up finding your comment on iheartorganizing when she was on the show and it brought me *finally* to your blog! You have a gorgeous house! I've only read as far back as about 5 months ago and I can't wait to see the rest!
ReplyDeleteI saw you today!! Congratulations, you were great [and your home is gorgeous!] :)
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you! I'm bummed your lovely bathroom and basement couldn't be part of the segment, but everything that was shown is gorgeous! Also, I hadn't seen a template like yours for a chevron rug. I had only seen taped-off versions. A DIY stencil seems like such an easier method. Congrats on your appearance on Nate ... you looked great ... the house looked great!

ReplyDeleteI'm here because I saw you on Nate today. You did an amazing job; one of the most natural, relaxed and fun house proud guests he's had. Be proud of yourself too! Your house is great - lots of inspiration for me. I look forward to checking out your blog. (I deleted my previous post because of a spelling error.)

I DVR'd it and watched it today. You are so pretty and did great on camera, very sincere. I'm sure you'll be back on Nate again. Best of luck and congratulations on your success!
ReplyDeleteI saw your segment on Nate and love your beautiful home. I'd like to know the name/brand of the wallpaper in your living room. I live in Western Canada as well and hope to get the same one!
ReplyDeleteHonestly I can't remember the name of the company, it might have been Blue Mountain??? I got it at The Home Depot though, so check it out there! I think you might be able to buy it in stock there and at Wal Mart as well!
ReplyDeleteNatalie, The Nate Show re-aired the episode with your House Proud segment. I don't know how I missed it the first time but it was amazing. I love your home! I can't wait to scroll through your blog today too!
